Should still use the same LVDS cable. E6410 is LED backlit so no inverter. Should just be a straight swap.

You can use entire displays from the E6400. As far as I know, E6410 and E6400 share the same display assembly, save for minor differences such as the lid panel. Anything display stuff that works on an E6400 should work on an E6410... though don't quote me on that.

According to Google, it should be...

Well I have received the new LCD screen turns out to be the LP141WP2-TLA1 which I know is compatible - but this has a larger 50 pin connector instead of the 30 pin which I have.

Are all WXGA+ connectors 50pin, Im trying to work out if that lcd comes in types of connectors or if Dell have sent me a CCFL screen?

E6400/E6410 are LED backlit. LED panels do not have inverters so it cannot be CCFL.

I have some questions about those different panel choices.

How much better is the WXGA+? I know the resolution is higher, but are the viewing angles, blacks, whites, contrast ratio, and colors better?

In addition, are there any other monitors that can go into the e6410? For example, a nice GLOSSY one?
