Pre-Windows Login password issue

Anyone experienced issues with Dell Protection Access suite on a Latitude E6520?

After enrolling fingerprints I now have to enter Pre-Windows Login password on boot or swipe a fingerprint. I can swipe it to get in.

I definetely did not enable this nor did I enter a Pre-Windows Login password or confirm it in the wizard. The only password I entered was the Windows password.

If I go into the Dell Protection --> Access Options to change "When would you like to login into your system" from "Both" to "Windows" it prompts me to enter the Pre-Windows Login password.

If I enroll additional fingerprints I am prompted for the Pre-Windows Login password.

I have been on to Dell ProSupport and am awaiting their response

Yes, I've encountered this too, but I thought it was because of changed mainboard...
The only way for me to login was to ask Dell "support" the master password

has anyone a Solution for this problem? I did not have set the system passwort, but there is now one! My Fingerprints are working, but i like to set the password back.

Dell did not believe, that i didn't set the passwort, so the support ist working on this problem, but they have no solution!

Sorry for the old bump, but I had this exact issue when I stupidly installed DDP|Access on a used machine from ebay! Since the machine ownership wasn't transferred to me yet (don't get me started on their delays here), I can't get into the machine!

Any idea how to fix it (assuming I can get the machine unlocked)?
