The sticker is not important, it was designed to be easily removed.

Nice photo, Philip! Beautiful laptop, no doubt! Does everything work out of the box or is there any quirking involved?

I would be more concerned about the reader itself than the sticker...not sure if I want something emitting RF from there. Unfortunately, the contactless smart card and fingerprint readers are bundled together, otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten the contactless smart card.

I originally removed the keyboard and disconnected it from my E6400, but when I got the palmrest replaced under warranty, I removed the entire module (it's stuck onto the plastic with adhesive) before re-assembling. If you won't use it, better get rid of it...can't hurt.
