    MXM 3-A max power draw is 33 and Quadro FX 2000M consumes around 55W.
    Could somebody explain this discrepancy?

    Actually, Dell does have an official caddy but it only supports up to 1.8" sized drives. Info can be found in the sticky.

    Power consumption and TDP are not the same. The MXM 3.0 type A standard only states that the TGP is cost optimized for 35W.
