Reformatted Vostro 1500, Audio/Video drivers from Dell website won't install

    I just reformatted, and did window updates, including Service Pack 3.

    I downloaded the drivers under vostro 1500, in Dell drivers download.

    For the audio driver, I get this error...

    "This is not the correct audio driver for this system. The installer will now exit."

    For the video driver, I get this error...

    "setup detected that the operating system in use is not windows vista [32-bit]."

    I use XP... I think I will be able to figure out the video driver, before the reformat I used a video driver not supplied by Dell. But I'm kind of stuck on the audio driver :/ not sure how to fix that.

    Any suggestions?

    I figured it out... there was a dragdown menu on the dell site that displayed the audio xp driver instead of the audio vista driver.
