Anyone using a remote control with their M6400 for music, video, or powerpoint talks?
    Make/model?

Also, Touchpad Speed setting is never saved in the Touchpad Settings on my M6400. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks.

Detail, humm. It was a $20 option when I ordered my Dell. It charges through the PCcard slot.

It has all the usual buttons. Foward, back, volume, etc etc.

You can order it seperately though Dell's website.

Much appreciated. Power through the PCcard slot is a nice option. I'll check on Dell's site to see if they have anything specific like this for the M6400 or if their generic 'PCcard' remote will give full control of the M6400.

I'm not finding any remote that gets power through the PCcard slot at Dell web site. Dell Part# ?

Anyone using the CoolSlice for Dell Latitude E6500 Laptop / Precision M4400/ M6400 Mobile WorkStation with their M6400?
    Manufacturer Part# : Y539D | Dell Part# : 311-9104

Nice product but Dell no longer sells it and has no replacement.

Having a remote that stores and charges inside the notebook is a win-win. But no longer available through Dell. Instead Dell offers a USB 2 piece combo with both parts not stored inside the notebook and the remote not charged by notebook. Great move Dell !

Man that stinks. I didn't know they don't sell it anymore.

The good thing about having bluetooth, is I can use my TREO to control my laptop's presentations also........

Download one of them media remote software and bam, I got volume control, play/pause.....

You can do this with an iPhone also. haven't tried it with a blackberry yet.
