    Would it be feasible to replace the1280x800 LED LCD with a 1440x900 LED LCD on my e6400?

    I can deal with that... I'm just trying to figure out what exactly I'll need to get some more screen real-estate :D

    I'm not 100% certain, but judging from Dell part #s, the E6400 documentation, and my own experience switching my LCD, I would say yes.

    Yeah, you can definitely do it. The question becomes one of price; how much is it going to cost you, compared to just replacin the laptop with one that is more appropriate to your needs, and then selling your existing one?
