I have been using a Intel X25-M G2 with 160GB and a Supertalent Ultradrive GX with 256GB (Indilinx based) in my Laptop (using this caddy: http://newmodeus.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=224 ) for some time now. Therefore I thought it would be nice to give you a short comparison:

    The System:
    Dell Latitude E6400 Laptop
    Intel T9900 with 3.06GHz
    8GB Ram
    ICH9M with AHCI on
Windows 7 64bit with native Trim command

    Personal Opinion:

Using the SSDs on a daily basis I can state that the Intel SSD is slightly faster. But it is important to note that the difference is relatively small.

Comparing prices the €/GB relationship looks like this (13.02.2010, Prices for Germany):
    Intel X25-M G2 160GB: 2,243€/GB
    Supertalent Ultradrive GX 256GB: 2,148€/GB

    Best Regards
