I've read reviews on the Vostro having a somewhat flexible screen and was wondering is that similar to the flex on the Latitude E6500? If it is then I think it will make a great purchase without breaking my wallet.

Because the system has such a large screen, screen flex is inevitable. Smaller screens will be less prone to flexing.

If your budget is tight, be sure to check out the Dell Outlet. The refurbished systems are pretty much just like new and carry the same warranty.

Thanks Robin24k, I checked out the Dell Outlet and bought a Vostro 3700 with i5 520m cpu, 6 gigs of memory and a two year warranty for 983.00 which includes tax. Dell has a coupon for 15% off at outlet site which runs till this friday.
