    Just a quick question--

Regarding the Latitude D series (505, 510,600, 800, 820, etc)--what is the size of the screw that locks in the optical? I have a number of these machines and would like to secure the optical drive.

    I BELIEVE it's a 2 x 5 M-- or is it 2.5 x 5 M???

    Thanx in advance.

It's not any of the standard sizes; it's a funny shaped screw with two diameters (I forget the technical name), but you may be able to make one of the standard sizes work.
