    unclewebb, great thanks for your detailed answer.. now i know what the problem is. I'll be waiting new bios from dell :)

    Bokeh, i bought it refubrished... i don't know how old is it. Probably manufacture date is coded in serial number.. but i have no idea how to extract it.

    Each Dell comes with a service tag number and sometimes there will be a sticker on your computer with that number or you can usually see this number in the bios. Once you have that number you can go to Dell's website and learn about your Dell and what parts it originally shipped with, when it shipped and if there is any service contract still outstanding on it.
