Some odd problems with new Dell Vostro 1500

    Hi everybody, I've had my vostro on tuesday and i have some problems:
    - After reinstall the windows and the audio driver, the mouse is going to freeze after each 30 mins. I dont know why?
    - If I install Vmware, MediaDirect is going to down?(can't get into MD)
    Pls help me. I'm hopless

    Try a different mouse driver. I know the one I originally used after a reinstall caused BSODs. :eek:

    Can't get into MD? Perhaps you deleted the partition.

    I don't delete it at all. Just install Vmware and tada....
    I wonder if Vmware touches MBR???

    any other ideas? Have anyone installed Vmware on a Dell laptop with MediaDirect???
