    Depends on what you are looking for? Speed? SandForce or SATA 3 SSDs. Reliability? Intel/Samsung.

    Recommended are Intel 510 series, Crucial M4 for SATA 3. If you don't necessarily need SATA 3, then 320 series from Intel, Samsung 470 series.

    You can get an enclosure and hook it up externally and transfer your data.

    Based on the reviews, I just bought an OWC Mercury Extreme Pro from the mainstream catagory for my E4310. I installed it tonight and it's pretty snappy so far.
