Currently have a E6400 and thinking of upgrading to a M6600 in the next month or two.

I would like a 128Gb SSD as primary drive - os and apps - for fast starts. And then another 500Gb or 750Gb as a secondary drive for data.

Been reading about the SSDs failures, and apparently Intel is the brand which is most reliable. Are Dell SSDs Intel branded?

Any other things I should know / research about?

    TIA.

They are usually Samsung or Crucial. They are reliable.

As stated, Dell mostly uses OEM Samsung and Crucial SSDs. You can always buy Intel afterwards. Lenovo and some HP Elitebooks are the only ones who carry OEM Intel SSDs AFAIK.
