    Hello,

I have a Vostro 1510 with Intel GMA X3100 (Mobile 965 Express IGC). The driver comes along with this TV Wizard which apparently should support and detect many connection-types including S-video.

I have a projector that has a 4-pin S-Video input. The laptop has only a VGA output. I purchased a VGA to S-Video cable (not an adapter, just a cable), thinking that since the card has the TV out functionality, it will be able to convert VGA signal to S-Video on the fly.

When I connect the projector using the cable, the laptop "detects" it in the sense that it responds by changing the resolution as if trying to project. Likewise when I disconnect the cable, the resolution goes back to normal.

BUT, nothing shows up on the projector.

I tried using the TV Wizard, but when I click on "Next" after selecting "S-Video" manually (since it doesn't detect the "TV" automatically), nothing happens! It just won't go to the next screen.

Any clues on what might be wrong? Does Intel X3100 not have TV out? Why the wizard then? :(
