Howdy all, I have an M6400 on the way that I just purchased from the Dell outlet (about 1500 cheaper then buying new with the outlet coupon). I'm curious if anybody has any idea if the Wireless 410 Bluetooth + Ultra Wide Band Combo is useful at all. It's only about 19 bucks more then the straight bluetooth card so will probably get it anyway. Also anybody ever transfer a cell card from one laptop to another (hoping to take the one out of my 1720)? It's Verizon so I don't have a SIM card to worry about, and it's a 5720 and Dell lists a Sprint 5720 on the parts page for the M6400 so I am assuming no compatibility issues.

Once I have decided whether or not to keep the M6400 (never bought a recert. Dell before, so a little nervous, after all someone sent it back) I will probably buy the bluetooth card and up the memory to 6 or 8GB (I plan on running Server 2008 and some Hyper-V).

UWB is not cellular, it's wireless USB. Cellular is WWAN.

My questions are about 2 separate devices, the 410 and the 5720. The 410 has the UWB the 5720 is the cellular.

why do you need UWB? its hardly in use, and is probably going to die out.

the 5720 should fit if its listed. all the antennae are installed in the screen back panel. all you have to do is remove the protective tubing from the plugs in the card slot labelled WWAN and install it...easy!

Don't need it as far as I know, just doesn't cost much more then the straight bluetooth.

Was wondering if there where any UWB stuff, but it doesn't look like there is much.
