Is it possible to upgrade my P8600 in my Vostro 1520 to a qx9000, q9000, qx9300, ect.? If not, what's the highest processor I could upgrade it to?

Also is it possible to upgrade the lcd from the 1280x800 screen?

    Thanks

Dell offered a 1440x900 panel option.

As for the processor; Dell offers up to a Core 2 Duo T9550. No Core 2 Extremes were offered, you probably could put one it but I doubt the cooling system could handle it. You are best off upgrading to a T9xxx series CPU or saving that money for a newer laptop, the 1520 is pretty much handcuffed in terms of performance these days.
