    Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has tried out any games on the V13. I am considering getting the V13 (and you gotta admit, it's one sleek looking laptop); but would really want to be able to play Starcraft 2 on it. I simply want to play it on all low settings and have playable frame rates.

I would be getting the Core 2 Dual 1.3Ghz config.
And of course, the only video card choice, the famous GMA 4500MHD

Anyone had the chance to try this out or similar "spec" games?

    Cheers,

At low settings, SCII is more or less playable on my SU9300 and X4500MHD. I wouldn't necessarily call it an amazing experience, but it works, and on the lower resolution of the V13, it should be fairly smooth.

Though I only played through a couple 1 v 1 games; with enough units running around, the game might choke some.

Thanks for the reply Commander Wolf,

Now let's say late game, with both sides maxed out units (on 1v1) do you see any chopiness at all? And I am assuming you are running everything already in low settings.

    Cheers,

Yeah, 1440 x 900 with everything at low. Late game in 1 v 1 doesn't get choppy, but having more players may or may not. I haven't actually tried it.

    Thanks Commander,

I think you have just convinced me to get the V13 =)

If you ever get a chance to try 2v2 or more players, let me know if it gets choppy or not. =)

    Thanks for all your help!
Time to go check dell's site

    Cheers,
