Vostro 1220 - How to change video memory from 32mb to 512mb

    Hi I'm a newbie in terms in handling notebook, i have a vostro 1220 notebook and i want it to change the video memory from 32mb to 512mb?is that possible?Can you help me how to do it?

    It's not possible, the majority of notebook graphics cards cannot be upgraded because they are soldered onto the motherboard.

    what for?
    What video adapter is installed?
    Unless I found something totally different (This one: Dell Vostro 1220 Laptop | Dell ), then the Vostro 1220 is equipped with Intel GMA X4500MHD. The system will dynamically assign more memory for that video adapter if needed.
    32 MB is the minimum amount of memory assigned.

    As stated, integrated graphics will allocate memory as necessary. You can't (and shouldn't) bother with GPU memory management anyways.
