I get these "skips" and "stutter" on everything, movies, mp3, FLAC and it doesn't matter which media player I use. I've tried locating a newer driver but so far I haven't been able to find one newer than the one from Dell which I'm running right now.

The driver version is: 6.10.0.6146 and is called IDT High Definition Audio Codec.

What brand is that exactly, Intel?

I've also tried the driver built in Windows 7 and it's the same thing.

    Anyone else experienced this?

    I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64Bit RTM.

    /Martin

I was not aware that there is a stuttering issue under win 7 but you should drop the IDT driver either way and use the standard windows driver.

If you have the Dell Wireless LAN card you may try to disable the b-Band functionality in the device manager. There are some threads about this issue around here.

As I said i tried the windows driver and the stuttering is still there.

I don't have a Dell wireless, i chose the Intel 5300 card instead.
