    Hi there

Just a quick question. It seems my battery has died after 3 years of constant usage.

It has run out of charge. Even when I connect to the mains I just get orange flashing lights so it isn't charging even from mains power.

Therefore, in the meantime, whilst I source a new battery can I simply disconnect the battery completely and plug into mains power?

Will this work on the Vostro? I know u can run notebooks from just main power but I see no mention of this in the manual.

    Thanks in advance
