Vostro 1500 wont suspend in Win7

    I have all the power settings (plugged/battery/lid close) set to 'sleep', but when the lid is closed, the machine hibernates, and does not wake up on openening the lid. Have to press power button which actually turns the machine OFF completely, then power button again and screen shows 'resuming windows'. Very strange behavior.

    Searched forums, and as usual, never get a relevant hit.

    Any ideas?

    Try updating your graphics driver? Are you using an XP or Vista driver instead of a 7 one?
