    Hey

I have a Dell Vostro 1510 and its FN + Brightness keys dont work. I have QuickSet installed and the graphic that shows brightness going up and going down pops up but the brightness does not change. This worked in the past. Why isnt it working now? FN + Sound works.

This is on Windows 7 32 bit.

    Thanks.

Are you using a Dell graphics driver (the Vista one should work with Windows 7) or a standard Windows 7 graphics driver?

Have you checked your BIOS? Dells can sometimes lock the brightness settings on battery power. Also someone could have pulled a prank on you and locked the brightness setting for AC power.
