KLSlim posted a thread on this back in 2010. He/she answered their own question by noting they think soda was spilled on the computer.

I have the same problem as the title of the thread. I'm certain nothing was spilled. Does anyone have advice how to address?

It POSTs but doesn't boot? What exactly happens? Have you tried running Dell Diagnostics on your hard drive?

Right, just the lights come on. I found a site that says it's a code for something is wrong with the processor. It looke like it needs to be reseated or possibly replaced. I'm a little nervous about taking the guts out and messing around. has anyone ever done this? is it easy?
