    I'm looking for a cheapo 15" laptop with some processing grunt as a DAW/Music laptop. This seems to fit the bill, except I'm worried about the heat w/ P8700 + 9300M. I've heard issues with the build quality too.

    Any 1520 owners care to chime in? How's the mid/high range LCD they offer?

    I've got a 1510 and I haven't had any quality concerns and the 1920x1200 display is good but could be a little brighter. Its fine 99% of the time but its not really usuable on bright days outside.
