i need to upgrade my processor (T5600 at 1,6ghz) and i read here than the ideal processor is T9300, but is lot more expensive than T9400 or T9500.
I some forum speak about this processors aren`t compatible with Santa Rosa chipset... what about Bus speed (800 vs 1066mhz) i'm confused about that.
I'm in Chile and here is really expenside this processor (T9300 U$500). Newegg don´t sell to international consumers...amazon is ideal for me because i buy a lot of time there . the option are T9500 U$370, T9400 and 9600 U$340, T9300 U$450!!!!, T8600 U$218
    regards and thanks a lot!

You can't use the 1066MHz FSB Socket P processors. The T9500 is the best thing you can get - aside from some Extremes which may or may not work. Seeing as the T9500 is cheaper than the T9300 for you, that may be your best choice.

Or you may want to consider a T8300 or T8100 which should still be cheaper.

T9500 and T9300 processors are the only ones you have mentioned that will work in your system. The rest, like the T9400, T9600 won't because of its 1066MHz FSB design, will not work in the 1700's GM965 chipset which is limited to 800Mhz FSB max.

I can sell you my 2.1GHz T8100 processor which is guaranteed to work in it if you need.

EDIT: Commander beat me to it. :p
