    I have got Vostro 1720 with nVidia 9600GS , T6600 , and Windows XP . I would like to ask you about i8kfanqui in this notebook . Does it works ?

    Probably not. So far I haven't seen i8kfangui (at least not to the point that it can actually control fan speeds) work on any Dell laptop with a chipset newer than the 965. I'm pretty sure the 1720 has a 45-Series chipset. You can always try it and report back, though :)

    Ok - thanks for Your answer
    One more question - I found that powermizer does not work properly on my card . No matter how I set it in nVidia control panel my card do not downclock in 2D mode .
    And the temperature - idle is 59-63 and about 80-85 under load . Is it correct ?
