    Is there a Vostro with a dedicated GPU? I heard you could only get them in the UK but is there a way to order it to the US?

    Current Vostro line is offers discreet video. Most of the time you need to buy the higher end model up front to get the model.

    Also, please refrain from posting information that does not help OP in any way..

    Thanks, I did not see an owners thread for it or the option for a dedicated gpu on the dell website. How is the 3450 in terms of build quality, value, weight and screen quality?

    The Vostro 3350, 3450, 3550, and 3750 have the option for a discreet AMD Radeon GPU. Unfortunately, these models use AMD's automatic graphic switching, which precludes any OpenGL application from running on the AMD GPU. These programs are stuck using the Intel integrated GPU. Dell is allegedly working on a fix, but it's been months with no release as yet. You can check on its status by following this thread on Dell's Ideastorm website.
