Webcam setup help

    hi

    I just got my dell latitude z in the mail and I can't get the webcam to work.

    I tried to install the creative dell webcam central driver again but it gave me an error so i just uninstalled it.

    nothing recognizes the webcam. any suggestions?

    Check the BIOS to see if the webcam has settings there.

    Install the latest webcam driver from Dell.com, if any.

    Check for the webcam imaging device in Device Manager.

    If all good, install an application to use the webcam.

    If not all good, ask Dell why your new webcam does not work.

    This post describes how to use Dell's built-in diagnostics to (partially) test the web cam device on the newer Latitude E and Precision Mobile laptops.

    Not sure if the Z is similar.
