    A few questions:

    1. What is the DCP button on the F keys and what does it do?
    2. What is the SC slot on the left of the computer and what does it do for me?
    3. Is there a way to turn BT off only or only the wireless switch that turns both off?
    4. I have the symbol for wireless access over cell towers but I don't think it was listed on the outlet as a feature when I got the system. Is the status light just always there even if the card isn't built in?

    Thanks!

1.It launches Dell ControlPoint if you have it installed.

3.There's an option to turn off the bluetooth in Bluetooth settings. Not sure about wireless.
4.I think every system has the symbol there but there should be no light coming out of it when you don't have a WWAN(?) card.

    3) You can configure the wireless to switch off just Bluetooth or just wifi in the BIOS. If you wan to disable Bluetooth altogether (if you never use it), go to the Windoes Device Manager, find the Bluetooth card, and right click and then select disable. If you ever need it on again, you can enable it the same way.

Ok thanks guys. PS - How did you get a Core 2 Extreme in the e6400 and why would you want it?

That's the wifi catcher, if you have a dell wireless card it'll list all the nearby wireless networks.
