Im trying to send some Voice Clips using Windows Live Messenger using my Vostro 1510 but I can't seem to select the internal microphone but it does allow me to use the 3.5mm plug with a external microphone.

I tried the voice setup but it says there is no microphone detected. I had Vista Basic installed on this computer out of the box and I remember that the microphone worked. I upgraded to Vista Ultimate and it still didnt work. Now, I updated to 7 Ultimate and it still does not work and Id like to fix it. Im sure it has a internal microphone to the left of the webcam but I cant find a option. I have all the drivers installed.

Ive also tried other applications but nothing. They do not detect the internal microphone so it is a system wide problem. What can I do?
