    I am planning to get a DEll E4200 and may I know what kind of 128GB SSD interface it is using within this laptop ?

    Please kindly advise.

    It's using a micro SATA connector. You've got the same speeds as standard SATA 3.0Gbps, but the form factor is smaller. Basically any 1.8" SATA SSD will have the same connector.

    Thanks for your prompt reply, so if I want to upgrade the 128GB SSD to something larger, should I get 1.8" SATA SSD drive then ?

    As of today, I don't think there is a 1.8" SSD with a capacity greater than 128GB. Furthermore, the SSD in the E4200 is special; it's just a PCB with the aforementioned connector. You can't take a standard 1.8" SSD and install it without any modifications; you'll need to remove the PCB from the standard drive and use that.

    I believe Samsung or another company has a 256GB 1.8" SSD. Don't know the availability however.
