Why isn't my screen dimming/turning off?

    Ive noticed lately that when I take my Latitude (6400) out of the docking station (desktop set-up with external monitors) and use it around my apt., the screen no longer dims after 2 minutes or turns off after 5 (my current settings).

    Thoughts?
