Why no new bios updtate on E6500?

    How come the E6400 has a bios version 15 and the E6500 has a bios version 14? I thought these machines was the same and the only difference was the screen?

    It is likely that A17 was a special for the E6400 to address the throttling problem. it seems to have helped.
