    Hi,

I installed the latest dell connnection manager, but the wifi-catcher switch is still not functional. Has dell abandoned this feature or am i missing something?

    cheers

    Hi afhstingray

It works for me without the Dell Connection Manager in Windows 7 (it just switches the wifi on or off, right?).

no- that is the wireless switch. next to the wireless switch there is a button. that is the "wifi catcher".

its supposed to work even if the computer is off.....but at the moment it dosent do anything on mine

its kind of lame that the M4400 is about to be replaced (M6500 already available) and they havent sorted out the wifi catcher yet. and they only JUST sorted out the latitude ON for the latitudes.

would be nice if the M4400 had latitude ON as well.
