Assuming I choose the Intel wireless card, will Wireless Display work on this machine? Intel's site says:
"Intel® My WiFi Technology (Intel® MWT) and Intel Wireless Display must be pre-installed and enabled "

My question is "pre-installed" by whom? Looks like this software may be downloaded on Intel's site - is there anything that needs to be enabled at the factory for this to work?

On Dell's site, only specific units (mostly XPS) are marketed as WiDi capable. Is this just marketing or is there truly a limitation that would prevent WiDi from working on a Latitude with the appropriate hardware?

You might be able to install software not officially supported by Dell. I don't see it as an option on the E6420 even though it has all the supporting hardware.
