Has any tried Windows 7 Pro x64 (retail) on Precision M2300 yet? I notice that Dell's website doesn't have complete drivers yet, they say to use Vista's drivers. I am planning to do an install soon, so I want to know what is expect not to work.

Supposedly Vista 64-bit drivers are compatible with 7 64-bit.

    Update:

So I finally installed Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit on my M2300. Pretty much all of the drivers automatically loaded up with the Windows install. I had to install the Vista driver for the sound card in order for it to work with my docking station. As for graphics card I downloaded the latest one from NVIDIA’s website since the Dell driver hasn’t been updated since 2007. I also updated the BIOS to A09

As for the Windows 7 experience, I love the new task bar and the extra shortcuts in the explorer windows. As for speed, some of larger programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator load up faster. The start up and shut down speeds are very equivalent to XP Pro. But start up and shut down speeds on my Dell M1210 were noticeably faster. Overall, I am quite happy with Windows 7 so far!
