This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Im trying to install the January Service Update and when i go to the page in ITunes, i click ok and then it brings me back to "Home" and it doesnt let me buy it! I followed all steps, please help me!

    That's weird. Have you reached the iPod Touch Software Update page?

    If you haven't, here's a way to get there:

    http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/

    Click on the bottom left box, with "January Software Upgrade" on it. It'll open up iTunes.

    Yes, i did do that- im sying when it opens iTunes... it tells you about it and gives instructions. I did that, i click "ok" and then it goes back to the home page. Im running 1.1.4 and no jailbreak so i dont know what the problem is.
