    Hi,

I have several questions regarding restoring the factory image that is on a hidden partition:

    1)
How do I restore the recovery image on my Acer Aspire 3690?
I've tried the Alt + F10 etc. but it doesn't work.

I managed to do it once using WinXP, but I had to install Windows on the D partition so that I could start the recovery process while Windows was running. It took me forever and I had to mess with the partitions. So, that's just not a reliable solution.

    2)
I would like to burn the image onto a DVD. However, my laptop doesn't have a DVD burner and I couldn't find an option that would allow me to burn it onto several CDs.

    3)
Any ideas how I can create a bootable recovery CD that will allow me to restore the image directly from DVD? I have a DVD burner on my desktop, so if I could somehow create a bootable ISO, I could burn it there.
I managed to copy all the files from the hidden partition, so I just need to make it bootable.

    thank you

was anyone able to split the image on burn it on CD's?
When I tried that, it told me that the media inserted doesn't fit the image.
