This is a Laptop Acer TravelMate 2480 CPU Celeron M 440 ( 1.86GHz, 533MHz FBS,1M L2 Cache) .Detials info CPU and MainBoard of it following : (Result from Software HWiNFO32) :

I don't believe the 940GML chipset supports the dual core CPUs. Perhaps you can do a Core Solo CPU, which would get you speedstep. A good SSD would probably be more useful if you can live with the limited space.

And Info about Processor Support following :
What is my CPU type in the list above? 1 or 2 that I draw on image.
I think type of my CPU is : Intel ® Core Duo Mobile Processor which It is not listed in above document.
So I can upgrade the CPU with this?

You are looking at the wrong chipset, you should determine your actual chipset, get the info from here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/206137-upgraded-acer-3680-celeron-cpu-t5300.html
If your chipset is 943 calistoga, you can upgrade to a C2D proc.Attached Files:
