    Hello,

First of all I really would like to thank everyone behind this forum and the amazing work they are doing.

Secondly, I would like to ask for your help to fix or unlock the option to change the VRAM option, aka more graphical memory, technically this intel i5 480m has around 1gb of graphical memory, but it seems that Acer limited it to 128mb which is a problem for me when running some rendering applications, games or HD things, I am really stuck to this laptop for now, because of I can't afford the money to get a better laptop for my study project.

I really hope that someone could unlock this VRAM thing. This laptop was a great deal for a student, price/quality, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-i5-480M-Processor-Windows-Premium/dp/B004H1T68K .

Model: Aspire 5742 (not the 5742G or 5742Z model)
    CPU: i5-480m @ 2.67GHz
RAM: was 3GB, upgraded to 6GB
    Bios Revision: 1.30
    Bios Type: INSYDE H2O
    Bios Link: http://global-download.acer.com/GDF...7449&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE

In the wait of your help, please accept all my respect.

    Cheers,
