    I recently installed Windows 7, and I re-downloaded the Acer Empowering Technology off the Acer website.

    I can access all the features, but the Empowering Button doesnt function anymore. Do you have any help for me?

    My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5535.

    This is pure speculation, but maybe you need Launch Manager, too.

    Ok, where would I download that from? I've just Google'd Acer Launch Manager and all the ones that came up were for XP, and im on Windows 7

    Could you point me in the right direction of where I can download it from please?

    I checked the Acer US driver download site for your model and a Vista Launch Manager Application is listed. Just use the Vista version and install in compatibility mode if needed.
