    Hello all

I managed to do a clean install on my Aspire 1410-8414 (bought from Amazon on Black Friday) via Daemon tools and even got the upgrade disk to work as well...

It didn't update much...I am concerned about a couple of items....

First, I didn't add the Empowering application or any "Crydtal ete" software...

I tried to see various drivers to update, though windows shows most of my hardware being "generic"...

I now realize I should have made a printout of all of the hardware when i got it... are the Win 7 drivers good enough or shouldI start tracking down each driver?

In a nutshell, has anyone else updated to Win 7 and what did you load after?

    Thanks in advance!

Go to Acer's website and find the drivers for your system / OS version, and install them. It's a bit tricky but they're all there.
