I have 15% wear on the 1810tz battery after 4 months! What's up with that?
I know 15% isn't much, but after 4 months it IS...
So if it continues this way, the wear level will be 30% after 8 months...

How's your battery wear on the 1810?

Did you look at the 'wear' when it was new, mine came with 2% down already

Organic lithium cells are strange creatures. . .

It is reasonable to expect a life of at least 300 - 500 cycles (so you can finish a battery off (<50% capacity) in a year of daily discharge and nightly recharges) Heavily used mobiles often lose talk time in the same way after 12- 18 months.

Also a typical 'chemical' life of 5 years would apply even to cells in a drawer.

The two factors degrade the cells together, so you could get a 500 cycle life if you went crazy in the the first months but probably only 200 spread over 5 years

You just have to treat Batteries as a consumable and try to find a cost effective source of replacements
