I have a 40 GB Western Digital hard drive with all the normal acer stuff on it.

    1. Can I get a larger (160gb) as a direct replacement for this and if so where from in uk.

    2. I know about the mechanical side of replacement which is straight forward but what about the software part when I install the new drive (if available). Is there a guide anywhere that would take me thorugh this. What are the complications if any?

    3. I have ordered from crucial 2 x 1gb sticks of ram as I curently have 2 x 256. Will fitting both the 1 gb sticks have any major increase in processor power or should I go for 1 x gb + 1 x 256 and use the other two in my other AMD 1642 laptop.

Many thanks in anticipation of your help.
