    New bioses are out for these notebooks however the 1690 DDR bios is listed but not on the ftp[xx(]

    I tried to flash my 1691 but winphlash programs says that "bios is not flashable" or something like that. what is the problem?

    Hi Meaker, can you tell me where I can find the new bios of 169X? From Taiwan website, up to now only the factory default BIOS are on it (3C11 for X600 model, 3C25 for X700 model).

    Ok the new Bios is Uploaded in Taiwan 3c29 i think.

    I take it by your sig, you don't like reflective screens :D It is a bit funny we went from them being as non reflective as possible (so usable in sunlight) to the complete opposite.
