    Guys I need urgent help!!

First of all, I want to extract the DVDROM from the main unit so that it can be lighter in weight while I don't need it. However, I found that I have no "unlock-lock" at the position of the end of the optical drive. There is the unlock mark at there but the lock switch is simply gone. Anyway I can extract the ROM? I tried to undo the 4 screws around the ROM but no go....

Second help needed is about the eRecovery. I found it is a real handly utility. However, I cannot found it anymore after I re-installed to WinXP Pro. I haven't touch the partition table at all so the first EISA partition by Acer should be intact. I just don't have the installation package of eRecovery on my CD only!!! Should eRecovery come with the eManager or it should be installed by individual setup package? My System CD don't has it!

May I ask you a favour to check these two for me?? Really really thanks!! [ :(]
