The blue line thingy is the button to switch it on/off

The bluetooth is integrated in the laptop and is not visible

    wtf..

i am surprised to see a review on Acer AS 1694WLMi.. i got my piece 4 months back and now i find some variations in the specs..

    my RAM is 512 DDR2
and Vram is ATI Mob Radeon x700 128 MB..

why do specs differ on the same model?? i got it from middle east..

Any ideas where I could d/l a driver for the bluetooth?

Ive got a 1692 and can't find a driver on Acers website. Im trying to activate it by pressing the bluetooth button but it returns "No Device".

Does that mean my computer lacks the bluetooth or just that the driver might be missing?

You don't have the bluetooth module if it say "No Device", if you bought it in Canada no module in teh 169x series had it included.

All I wanted to see from the picture is where the module is so that I can open mine up and see if there are connect/antenna for it.

    Thanks.

I guess I have to confront the reseller then as I was told by them it had bluetooth. :(

Honestly the Acer web site is sometimes miss-leading, they will have the bluetooth logo at the bottom of a models spec page, but that model will not include a bluetooth module. Give me your model/part number and I'll look it up and see if it does come with one, the number should start with ET.XXX.XXX.XXX, it will most likely will be on your invoice/receipt.
