    Hi all,

    I have a SU7300 1810T, and as part of a triple-boot I have a partition with 32-bit XP Professional installed.

Nearly everything is working, except I cannot get my WiFi hardware recognized. I installed all the proper XP x86 drivers downloaded from Acer's website.

I am suspecting it could possibly be a problem with the chipset device driver, as the switch on the underside of the unit does not do anything, in contrast the switch for Bluetooth turns BT on and off as it should.

Has anyone with a similar model had success getting everything working in XP? It's just a bit inconvenient if I am doing some work in XP and want to look something up on the net without having to restart and boot up in Win7.

Why would you make a 3 boot system, since your SU7300 cpu supports virtualisation?

Mainly I have a couple of older games that do not run well in the virtual XP mode (in fact, will not run at all for some reason). Perhaps more importantly I have some software for work that will work in XP mode, but since my priorities are not straight, I may as well do everything XP-related in a proper XP partition for snappier and flawless operation.

I just did the whole reinstallation on a new 500GB hard drive and the wifi switch is still not working. Kind of a bummer, but if there is no solution I can probably manage, nothing I do in XP actually needs an internet connection to function, it just would have been nice to be able to look up some references online while I work.
