You helped me correct the install from Win 7 Home to Pro on my 1810TZ.
    ( Here)

Now the Network controller has the Yellow "Caution" icon.

And the WiFi adapter is not recognized in the Device Manager.
I downloaded the driver from Acer but I'm not sure what to do or where to run them from or in which order.

I called Acer support,. After a 40 minute wait to talk to India I was told that I voided my warranty by upgrading to Pro and they referred me to the Paid Support.

Also I ordered the Factory System Disks for $2x.xx. They sent me a "Language Disk".???? I was told to call back in two weeks and they may be available.

    Are these folks for Real?

If you can help me I would appreciate it.
BTW, I installed the Win 7 Pro on my 1810T with No Problems. Is there any way I can copy all of the T's files to the TZ?

Thank you, I saved the Zip file in Downloads folder.

I ran the s64 "dpinst64" app. file and then the iProDifX app.
I was required to run as Administrator, if that means anything. I did.
    It installed " NETw5v64.sys" in Windows\System32\drivers\

    Nothing changed after re-boot.

I found a directory " Windows.old\System32\driver\ with the file " netw5v64.sys" and tried to copy to the "Windows\System32\drivers\" directory.

    Again, nothing changed after re-boot.

I've attached screen shots of each PC's Device Manager, with Network Adapter "Open". Maybe that will give a clue to what is going on.
On the TZ, the Network Adapter shows the version, (NDIS 6.20)

    I'm lost again.

Are there any files that I can try to locate and compare

    Yes!!!

    I fixed it!

I found the right driver @ Intel ( Here)

There were two .exe files to choose from. The larger one's version matched the version on my 1810T's Properties.
I saved it and ran it. Then re-booted.

Anyway, I tried pressing the WiFi button on and off as the PC booted and it started flashing. It recognizes the network now.

    Problem solved.

    Thanks for your efforts

I would be a slacker to not post and leave this "Thread Hangiing", so too speak.

If ya think I deserve it, how 'bout giving my "Reputation" a little Kick Start?
